When your site can't talk to your tools, someone is doing it by hand.

A lot of websites work in isolation. A lead fills in a form, and someone copies it into the CRM. A booking comes in, and someone checks it against a calendar. A sale happens in one place and gets reconciled in another. Each step is small — until you add up the hours, the delays, and the things that slip through.

Off-the-shelf plugins close some of these gaps, but rarely all of them — they’re built for the average case, not your case. You end up bending your process to fit the tool, or stacking three plugins to do what one clean integration should. Custom functionality is about closing the gap properly: your site doing the work, so your team doesn’t have to.

What it means in practice

We start by mapping what actually needs to connect — and we don’t reach for custom code by default. If a reliable plugin does the job well, we use it; that’s often the smarter, cheaper call. Custom work is for the places where off-the-shelf falls short.

From there we build the connections: your forms into your CRM, payments through the gateway you use, a booking flow that matches how you actually take appointments, or an API link to whatever system you run elsewhere. Where you need a feature no plugin covers, we build it directly into your site — lean, and only as complex as it needs to be. Everything’s tested against the messy real cases, not just the demo path.

Done right, it disappears — done wrong, it's a second job

A good integration is one you forget exists. The lead is in your CRM before you’ve finished your coffee; the booking blocks the calendar automatically; the payment reconciles itself. Nobody thinks about it, because nobody has to touch it.

A bad one is the opposite — a fragile chain of plugins and workarounds that breaks on an update and quietly drops data when no one’s watching. The difference isn’t how clever the code is; it’s whether it was built around how your business actually works and tested against the cases that don’t fit the happy path. We’d rather spend the time getting that right than ship something that becomes another thing you have to manage.

Deliverables

What's included

  • CRM integration Leads and contacts flow from your site straight into the CRM you use — no copy-paste, no missed enquiries.
  • Payment systems Checkout, subscriptions, or one-off payments through the gateway that fits your business.
  • Booking & scheduling A booking flow built around how you actually take appointments, synced to your calendar.
  • API connections Your site linked to the third-party systems you run, so data moves where it needs to.
  • Custom features Whatever a plugin can't do, built directly into your site — lean, and specific to your case.
  • Tested for the real cases Edge cases, failures, and the messy paths handled on purpose, not just the demo.

Who this is for

You're in the right place if —

A plugin gets you 80% of the way, and that last 20% is exactly the part your business depends on.

Your team is moving data between your site and other systems by hand, and it's adding up.

You need your site to do something specific that no off-the-shelf tool offers.

Let’s make your website do business for you
How it connects

Built during the build — or added to a site you already have

For a full website project, custom functionality and integrations are part of development — we plan them into the build so they’re native to the site, not bolted on afterward. That’s the cleanest way to do it, and usually the most reliable.

But you don’t need a new site to get here. If you already have a WordPress site and just need it connected to your CRM, taking payments, or doing something it currently can’t, we can build that into your existing setup — after a quick look to make sure it’s a sound base to build on.

What to expect

We start by getting specific about what needs to happen — what connects to what, what the data should do, and what “done” looks like. For integrations with services you use, we’ll need access to those accounts; we’ll tell you exactly what and why. We build, then test against the real scenarios — including the ones where something goes wrong — because an integration that only works on the happy path isn’t finished. Timeline depends entirely on scope: a single connection is quick; a custom booking system with payments and a CRM behind it is a project.

Scoped to what you need

From a few days for one integration to several weeks for complex features. We'll scope it precisely before we start.

Frequently asked questions

If yours isn’t here, just ask — we’re happy to talk through anything before you commit to anything.

Most likely, yes. If the tool has an API or a solid existing integration, we can connect your site to it — your CRM, payment gateway, booking system, or whatever else you run. Tell us the specific tools and we’ll confirm exactly what’s possible before any work starts.

Whichever serves you better. If a reliable plugin does the job well, we use it — it’s often cheaper and just as solid. We build custom only where off-the-shelf genuinely falls short, so you’re not paying to reinvent something that already works.

We can usually add it to your existing WordPress site — after a quick review to confirm the setup is a sound base. You don’t need a full rebuild just to add an integration or a feature.

That’s a normal place to start. Tell us what you’re trying to do and which tools are involved, and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s possible, how it’s best done, and roughly what it takes. No commitment to find out.

We build integrations to be as resilient as possible and test them against real cases, but anything connected to a third party depends partly on that third party. On ongoing support, we keep an eye on it and fix breakages fast — and either way, we’ll flag anything fragile upfront.

For most integrations, yes — we’ll need access to the services we’re connecting, and to your hosting. We’ll tell you exactly what’s required and why, and you stay in control of those accounts throughout.
