UX/UI Design Systems

UX/UI Design Systems

Every screen is a decision. We design interfaces that guide users toward action – with clarity, not clutter – so nothing gets in the way.

Good design gets out of the way — people only notice when it doesn't.

Nobody visits your site to admire the layout. They come to do something — find an answer, compare an option, book a call — and the only thing that matters is how easily they get there. When the design works, it’s invisible; people just move. When it doesn’t, they feel a friction they can’t name and quietly leave.

That friction is expensive. Most sites don’t lose customers because the offer is wrong — they lose them at a confusing menu, a form that asks too much, a button that isn’t where the eye expects it. UX/UI design is the work of removing those small failures before they cost you anything.

What it means in practice

We don’t jump straight to pretty screens. We start with how people actually move through your site — what they’re trying to do, in what order, and what’s standing in their way.

That means mapping the user flows first, then wireframing the structure before a single color goes down, so the logic is right before the surface is. Once the skeleton holds, we design the interface on top of your brand: type, spacing, color, and states for every button and field — not just the happy path, but what people see when something’s empty, loading, or wrong. The result is a clickable prototype you can test and feel before anything gets built.

Why we design it fully before we build it

It’s tempting to skip ahead and start building. It’s also the most expensive mistake we see. Changing a layout in a design file takes minutes; changing it after it’s coded takes days, and changing it after launch takes a redesign.

Designing every screen and state first means the hard decisions get made while they’re still cheap to change. By the time development starts, there’s nothing left to guess — the developers build from a complete, agreed design instead of inventing it as they go. That’s the difference between a site that ships on time and one that drifts for months.

Deliverables

What's included

  • User flows A map of how people move through your site toward what matters — before we design a single screen.
  • Wireframes The structure of every key page in black and white, so the logic is right before the visuals go on.
  • UI design Every screen designed in full, applying your brand to real layouts, type, and spacing.
  • Interface states Hover, active, empty, loading, error — the moments most designs forget, designed on purpose.
  • Interactive prototype A clickable version you can test and feel before anything is built.
  • Design system Reusable components and rules, so new pages stay consistent long after we're done.

Who this is for

You're in the right place if —

Woman in glasses pausing to think at her desk

You've got your branding sorted and need it turned into a real site or product that works.

Your current site looks okay, but people bounce, get lost, or never reach the action you care about.

You're building something from scratch and want the experience designed properly, not assembled from a template's defaults.

Let’s make your website do business for you
How it connects

Design is the bridge between your brand and the build

UX/UI design takes everything branding defined and turns it into something people can actually use. It’s the phase where the look becomes a working interface — and where we make the decisions developers will build from.

If you came to us for a full website, design follows branding and feeds straight into development. If you already have a brand and just need the site designed, we start here — we’ll review what you have and flag anything that needs fixing before we design a screen.

What to expect

We start by getting clear on what your users need to do and what you need them to do — the two don’t always match. From there we move through flows, wireframes, and then full UI, sharing work at each stage so there are no surprises at the end. Expect a couple of rounds of feedback on the designs; most projects settle in two. As always, the pace depends on how quickly you can react — clear, fast feedback keeps everything moving.

Usually 3–6 weeks

Depending on how many screens and flows are involved. Faster when branding's already done and feedback is quick.

Frequently asked questions

If yours isn’t here, just ask — we’re happy to talk through anything before you commit to anything.

UX is how it works — the structure, the flow, whether people can get where they’re going. UI is how it looks — the layout, color, type, and the feel of every interaction. They’re different jobs, but they only work together: great UI on a broken flow still fails. We do both, in that order.

Yes. Everything — wireframes, final screens, the prototype, and the component library — is built in Figma and handed over to you, so you keep full access to your own design files.

Often, yes. If the foundation is sound, we redesign what’s hurting you — the pages where people drop off — rather than rebuilding everything. We’ll tell you honestly whether a refresh or a full redesign is the better use of your budget.

Always. We design for mobile and desktop from the start, not as an afterthought — most of your visitors are on a phone, and the design accounts for that before development begins.

Both, if you want. Design and development are separate phases, but we run them end to end — so the people who designed the screens are the ones who turn them into a working site. You can also take the design and build it elsewhere.

Most projects settle in two rounds of feedback per stage, and we scope that in upfront. We’re not precious about changes that make the work better — we just don’t drag projects out with endless rounds that don’t.
