Challenge

The goal of the project was to design a kids’ store for a distracted, time-poor shopper — a parent often browsing one-handed — that feels playful but shops with ruthless ease.

The concept needed to:

Make a broad product range easy to filter by age, size and category
Let parents preview and shortlist products without losing their place
Feel playful and child-friendly without becoming cluttered
Keep the path from product to checkout short and interruption-proof
Encourage browsing and repeat visits through wishlists and deals

Solution

The visual identity combines warm tones, soft shapes, and friendly typography to create a child-friendly feel that stays clean and out of the way of shopping.

The interface uses:

Strong product filtering by category, age and attributes
Quick view and wishlist so parents browse without losing their spot
Variation swatches that make sizes and styles obvious at a glance
A playful but uncluttered aesthetic that keeps shopping easy
Promo popups and a dynamic cart to nudge deals and ease checkout

Beneath the design, the build was developed as a full custom theme — with theme-specific WooCommerce widgets and performance optimization carried out before release, so the store stays fast and checks out smoothly even mid-interruption.

Result

The final concept delivers a kids’ store where charm and conversion coexist — it looks warm and playful, but filtering, quick view and wishlists let a distracted parent find, shortlist and buy fast, with a cart streamlined for shopping with a child in the room.
