Save the Children is a website concept for a children’s charity, built to move people to give – a clear mission, real stories, and donation never more than a tap away. Developed on Elementor, with the Give donation plugin integrated and custom widgets built on top.

Challenge

A charity site has one core job: turn empathy into action. Visitors arrive moved but undecided, and the gap between feeling something and donating is where most sites lose them. The design had to build trust in the cause, make the need feel real and immediate, and remove every bit of friction between a visitor and a donation.

The concept needed to:
  • Make the mission and the need clear within seconds
  • Turn empathy into action with donation always within reach
  • Build trust that gifts reach the children they’re meant for
  • Tell real stories of children and the work being done
  • Show impact and progress to keep donors engaged

Solution

The visual identity is warm and hopeful — human imagery, soft and optimistic tones — leading with the children rather than statistics, so the cause feels personal.

It’s built around giving and stories, surfacing as:
  • Donation flows woven through the site, not buried on one page
  • Fundraising campaigns with clear goals and progress
  • Children and volunteer profiles that put faces to the mission
  • Story-led content that makes the need tangible
  • Impact sections showing where support actually goes

On the build side, we integrated the Give plugin for donations and fundraising and built our own Elementor widgets to surface campaigns, profiles and impact throughout the site — with the content tuned for fast loading before release.

Result

The final concept delivers a charity site that closes the gap between feeling and giving — the mission lands in seconds, real stories make the need personal, and donating is always one tap away rather than a hunt for a button. Campaigns show progress, and profiles keep the cause human.

Behind the warmth sits the practical machinery — the Give donation platform integrated and extended with our own campaign and profile post types, and the whole site tuned to load fast — so a story-driven, image-rich site converts empathy without making donors wait.
